The '''Crying Viking''' was a small introductory build to commemorate the the new world of Avalon. Since it has now become a grand mine and home for Caltimus to toil in the earth.

The general structure of the Vikings face is made of stone and several glowstone blocks to enhance the overall look of the figure as it can seem rather bland. Lava flows from the eyes illuminating the bust as a much needed finer detail. Finally red wool crests the helmet adorned atop of the Viking which Caltimus fell to his death many times crafting.

Beyond the face of the Viking lies a labyrinth of shafts abandoned and left to spiders, webs and zombies. Deeper within the mine expands into orderly shafts created to find an array of ore and diamonds. To allow for survivability, trees, food and water springs are plotted within the mine so resurfacing was not really necessary. The mine can be considered very safe but the odd zombie or two will slip inside to cause some havoc.

Deep within the mine a small town by the name of UnderStone has been setup as a home for Caltimus to live in and work on when mining becomes too much of a chore. It so far consists on two houses, a small market and a lava river but there is hope for further expansion below the earth.

Just before the sunset, the Crying Viking is a glorious sight to behold as the face begins to light up the darkness.
