The Sandstone Castle was a large structure built in the 1.6 Vanilla World's Nether by Fubaka. It as of now no longer exists in any form other than the images on this page.

Building Description

The Sandstone Castle was situated in one of the Nether's massive lava oceans. It featured a main bridge/walkway, a large outer wall, and several rooms and towers, all connected by smaller external bridges. The main chamber in the castle center featured a table and chairs, with a fire in the back for people to burn themselves on (due to the fact that the server was on Peaceful at the time) in order to eat cake.

Trivia

• This building was finished soon before the server reverted back to the original map we all know and love.
• Before the server reverted, two celebrations were held at the castle:
  • The first involved Fubaka and 3 other users in the previously mentioned burning cake eating.
  • The second involved Fubaka and Birdtross using TNT to blow the castle to smithereens, leaving nothing but a sinkhole in the lava ocean.
• Some may say that building anything entirely out of sandstone in the Nether is stupid, (and they would be right), but the castle never suffered any Ghast damage because there were no Ghasts to harass this structure. (Due to the server being on Peaceful difficulty at the time.)
