The Village of Reed is a small island town on the outskirts of New Avalon. This village was "offically" founded on the 29th of September, 2012, and is currently in the very beginning stages of planning and building.
Current Progress
There is, at the moment, work being done on leveling land, filling in holes, laying out tentative build locations, and some buildings being built. The island was successfully surveyed from 9/30/12-10/2/12 and land was divided according to how Macpants' was being lead by her fairy-like (not like Navi!!) spirit. The following areas/structures are one step closer to development:
- Chest shop marketplace
- Farms
- A Park for nice scenery -In Progress
- Potential event areas
- Rail station In Progress --rail connection upcoming
- Reed Public Libray -In Progress
The following areas are open:
- Residential area
- NPC trading area
- All entrances to caves systems -Note: Caves are private; only for residents of Reed
- Public boat docks
As of Oct. 3rd, the structures currently erected are Founder's Spring the Info Board, the rail station, an NPC containment area (for emerald based trading), a few wooden pathways, and one house.

Trivia
- Reed was purchased and founded on the same day.
- The name is derived from the island's shoreline being completely surrounded by sugar cane.
- There is an ugly but temporary construction office that is adjacent to Founder's Spring. It holds construction materials for Reed.
- As Macpants enjoys letting the project lead the way, as opposed to her leading it, Reed will most likely be a work in progress for the foreseeable future.
