This was the ninth official Spleef Tournament to take place in Cubic Worlds.

In the end, the perennial runner up magnesium13 triumphed, at last, over multiple champion Masternoj.
In a one of the greatest comebacks in Spleef history, magnesium13 lost the first 2 rounds, only to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat by winning the next 3 rounds. His prize of enchanted Aesir Wings were proudly won.
