Disk Value

On Cubic Worlds, Music Disks (also known as Records, or in rarer cases CDs) are generally valued differently based on rarity and music quality consensus. The following ratings were taken from a poll on the forums and from sales at The Jukebox.

	stal	#10. Largely unpopular. A jazzy disk that not very many people can get down to. Many claim it's too bland. The commonality of this disk will leave most people throwing it away.
	mellohi	#9. A very weird disk that isn't suitable for most listeners. Probably won't sell very well, though a select few may want it, due to being more rare than disks like 13 and stal.
	13	#8. Being a strange and old disk with a creepy ambient tune, not many people buy or comment on this one. It has its fans, but it ain't that popular.
	cat	#7. This was the more popular of the old disks, though many people agree that most of the newer ones are more fresh.
	chirp	#6. Chirp is fairly popular, though not as often talked about as most other disks. It's nice tune will occasionally bring people to buy.
	ward	#5. Middle-of-the-road. Its mildly interesting melody will attract collectors and curious onlookers.
	mall	#4. Considerably popular. You will get good sales from this one.
	strad	#3. Quite popular. It's melodic beat will keep sales of this disk high.
	blocks	#2. A highly prized find. This one sells very well and tops many peoples' favourite lists for Minecraft records.
	far	#1. The best-selling disk. People just cannot get enough of this one! More often than not, it will be sold out.
	11	#0. This disk is impossible to obtain naturally. The only way to get it would be if you won it in an event.

Trivia

• Opinions on what value the disks are vary wildly, though everyone who spoke up agrees that stal is kind of bland.
• Disk 11 is probably not worth the money in audio value alone, but like the Enderdragon Egg, it is a highly prized trophy item.
• This list will probably change slightly over time, moreso if other successful record stores are established, and definitely if/when more records are introduced.
