The Many Hued Path is a board game in which the player must move their token around the board, visit certain areas and return to the center before the other players.

There are 2 versions: the Small Board and the Long Path. The only difference is the length of a game and layout of the board; the Long Path can take more than 30 minutes to complete with just 3 people playing.

General Rules

  • Players place their token in the starting area.
  • The three dice change colour randomly, ending as some combination of Red, White and Green.
  • The player can move from their current position to any colour block/section matching a colour of one of their dice.
    • Players cannot move diagonally.
  • The player continues to move from colour block to colour block until they have used all 3 dice colours or do not have a matching colour block to move to.
  • Players can move freely within a colour block; i.e. in a line of 5 red blocks, the block is treated as a single block.
  • The objective is to move into a target area, indicated by glowstone.
    • A die is required to move into a glowstone area, but any colour can be used.
    • When a player enters a target area they can request that the board pattern be randomized
  • When all required target areas have been visited, the player moves to the end area. The first player to reach the end area wins.
