Differences from previous worlds

As mentioned above, Lunaris was generated using Terralith and Tectonic, which has resulted in a world with starkly different biomes to those in vanilla Minecraft. Overall, Lunaris features huge mountain terraces, deep river gorges, and bizarre terrain such as the Warped Mesa to the far southeast. It is a very rugged land with a high average elevation, and many of the major waterways run into the mountains through long naturally-generated tunnels. Underground, there are massive interconnected cave systems, with the most notable being the extensive network of Deep Dark Frostfire caves which are quite perilous to travel through without high-level gear.

Despite the modded terrain, Lunaris does not use any blocks or items which are not present in vanilla Minecraft.
