Great Biome Corruption
The Great Biome Corruption was an accidental event that started on the 4th of August due to a bug. It caused biomes to be randomly moved around in Pixellia, causing strange weather phenomena like snow falling in deserts. The spawn point was also moved. This bug was fixed the next day, on the 5th of August. During this time, Zolyx banned players from exploring new chunks to prevent biome changes becoming permanent.
