The Divine Nolanian Greater Library of Avalon is a structure being built by Fubaka in New Avalon, on the western hill overlooking the Ville d'Art. It is intended as a sequel structure to the original Great Library.

Current Plans

The library will be built larger and more eloquently than its predecessor. It will likely have more elaborate courtyards and murals as well. The library will hold many rooms, some of which will tell stories, some of which will serve as guides, and others that will serve as Enchanting rooms.

There will be three surface floors, each of which will have reading/enchanting rooms. This will undoubtedly make this library much taller than its predecessor.

The library will also have an extensive basement with many more reading rooms and archives, complete with a rail system, because what library would be complete without transport by minecart?

A great deal of cooperation with other players will be needed to get this library built. Donations in the form of wood, bookcases, paper, books, sugarcane, etc would be greatly appreciated. Those who donate will be given free reading rooms to write stories, and be allowed to participate in mural building and quote writing.

Progress

Every floor and courtyard is complete, though a little more decoration is needed, which will not be available until 1.2.4. All enchanting rooms, reading rooms, and the brewing station are now operational. The ceiling is finished. Plans to get some more mural work done are now underway.

All surface-level reading rooms are now available for purchase (or claiming by donators)! Talk to Fubaka if you want a room to write a story.

1-D: The Truth About Records. Written by an anonymous contributor. Describes the dark secrets of Music Disks.

1-E: The Story of Brin the Hero. Written by diamonddragon21. A story about the rise and fall of the eponymous Brin.

1-F: The Story of William Hill. Written by dnolan1337. A short story about William Hill, alongside some other random writings.

1-G: Empty.

2nd Floor

Trivia

• The library was initially just called the Greater Library, and is still referred to as such in common talk. It got its full name upon the incredibly generous donations from dnolan1337.
• Each floor of the library is named after other major donators. The first is Shabbyjazz Commons, the second is Enrekay64 Balcony, and the third is Sunny's Sanctuary.
• Eventually there will be a basement archive structure, but not until the surface library is complete.
