"It was a fateful discovery when the first music disk was found, off the corpse of a Creeper, unexploded, and not killed by the hand of the human in question who discovered it. It formed around the wound of an arrow, shot into it from a nearby member of the fleshless dead. Upon returning to his shack, this human would learn that this disk could be played in a similar fashion to a record in a jukebox, and the resulting music was unlike anything he had ever heard before. Upon this discovery, the news was spread, and soon a business began to thrive, composed of self-titled 'Record Hunters'.
They hunted for their disks with fervor, dancing gracefully, as they had to, in order to bring the Creepers to their knees by the hand of their skeletal allies. The disks that were born from this event would become in vogue, being traded all over the continent of Avalon, centered around the fashionably crafted emporium known as 'The Jukebox'. On a fateful night, a gathering of the most sociable citizens of Avalon will take place at this store, and throw a dance in honor of these mystic musical disks..."

The Disks of Herobrine was an event that took place on Cubic Worlds, mainly at the Lost Island, starting at The Jukebox in the Ville d'Art. The event was orchestrated by Fubaka.
Event Synopsis
Many months prior to the event proper, a book was written for the Greater Library called The Truth About Records. It described the story of an anonymous contributor who discovered that Music Disks, particularly the stal disk emanated evil, and, when broken, caused very disturbing things to happen to this person and his colleagues. It also detailed the Splarg prophecy above and gave out a warning to the reader not to attend the Disk party happening at The Jukebox, lest horrible things happen to them.
When the party commenced, many people attended and danced for a good while, but then Fubaka - in his foolishness - played the shattered stal diak and was consumed by the evil. The party then - led by ColDimitri - found clues leading them toward the Lost Island and ventured through the dungeon beneath.
The dungeon itself consisted of large dark chambers, many holes to the Void, Skeletons, Zombies, Blazes and Spiders galore, an ice cave, a lava maze, and a piston-based parkour challenge, among other things. At the end, the team would confront Fubaka, being possessed by none other than the Herobrine, and would have to defeat him in very specific ways.
The initial event ended in disaster due to mob mentality and un-team-like behavior. None of the party made it to the end of the dungeon and evil prevailed. However, a triad of new smaller teams were formed and went in at different times later that month. Only one of them succeeded.
Trivia
- After the event, the players were given rewards based on how far they had gotten. The winners were each given a diamond block and an otherwise unobtainable 11 disk.
- After the event, and the re-hashes, the Lost Island was opened to the public.
- Fubaka was said to have a ghostly presence during this event.
- Players were allowed to bring whatever they wanted to the event, but were not allowed to bring certain potions, for varying reasons.
- It is unknown where Herobrine is now.
