The Arachnid Storm was an event that took place on Cubic Worlds, at the Great Library. The event was orchestrated by Fubaka.
Event Synopsis
A few hours before the event, everyone was hushed out of the library and the doors were closed.
Mechajin was appointed as head librarian and was sent to welcome everyone inside when 19:00 rolled around. Each of the participants were given a book and allowed to wander the library for a short while. The main doors were locked after everyone came inside.
After enough time, Mechajin rallied them all into the Alpha courtyard and locked the doors behind him. In the dead of night, all the torches in the library went out by themselves, and spiders swarmed the place. A secret stash of weapons and armor was found, and the participants had to fight through the spiders to unlock the entrance to the then secret Spider Shrine.
Once everyone had entered the shrine, they had to solve all the puzzles and challenges together. The participants, by the time they had reached the last room, were made to fight a gigantic Queen Spider.
Once the queen was dead, the survivors had achieved victory over the event.
