The Ghast Apocalypse, (also referred to as the Great Summoning) was an event that took place at [[The Citadel]] in early July. The event, involving the [[Pumpkin-Head Clan]] consisted of building a shrine primarily of Nether materials, and chanting to bring [[Gary]] back into the overworld. It resulted in a severe storm that caused several dozen ghasts to spawn simultaneously and wreak havoc on the area. Nearly everyone who participated in the event was killed.
