The Ville d'Art is a planned town to be orchestrated by Fubaka on the next main world. It will likely be built a short distance from the new spawn and will house the Splash Gauntlet.

Current Plans

The town will be a large, square, flat area divided into many sections. The focus here will be art (as the name implies), and anyone who builds in the town must make whatever they build artsy. (think of the Cube Tower) Anyone who wants to build will need to pay a moderate fee for a section of land, (free plots will be given to users of exceptional artistic talent) and must stay in that section, unless it would help the art to connect to another structure. (with the owner of said other structure's approval) There will also be certain height restrictions, with taller structures allowed closer to the town center. Fubaka will have particularly high standards for what is built in the town, so anyone looking to build in here must be willing to truly get in the aesthetic zone.

There will be a x9 high wall surrounding the entire town, and that wall will become one giant public mural! (example: Public Murals) There will be a constant segment of wall for every player who wishes to take part, and players will be advised to try and keep a theme flow going with each segment.

Fubaka will reserve the right to have unsatisfactory structures removed/redone, and the offending materials returned to the player who built it.

The only solid rules for buildings in this theoretical place will be: NO COBBLESTONE OR DIRT IN SIGHT, unless it is only temporary. Also, Fubaka will restrict 2-D pixel art to the mural wall only, not on any of the plots.
