Staffers

Staffer is the term used to describe any high-ranking user who keeps order on the server and forums. While all staffers have considerably more power than normal users, they are themselves divided into ranks.

Staffer Ranks

The following is a list of the current staffers for Cubic Worlds, in descending rank.

OPs

OP (Short for Operator) is typically the top rank on a server, and appears red in chat. OPs have access to any and all of the server commands and responsibilities, most notably including the ability to promote/demote players of any rank.

• Zolyx The simultaneously loved and feared ruler of Cubic Worlds and the Minecraft Museum Forum. Zolyx is in charge of all of the higher functions of both these places.
• Monkz The server's new host after the failure of Multiplay. Monkz is currently responsible for keeping the server alive.

Moderators

Moderators are high-ranking users trusted to watch over the server and help orchestrate events. They appear orange in chat. They have most of the world-altering powers that OPs have, can spawn items, blocks, and even mobs when needed, and can promote/demote on the guest/member range.

• Mystic_Murray Possibly the most loved user on the server. Mystic is well know for his OCD(perfectionism) and for being the founder and proprietor of The Citadel.
• Biscuit_Junkie: Server-renowned cake and dome addict! Runs the Official Test Server for Cubic worlds and is the founder and proprietor of Elite City.
• Squeedge: One of the server's Cake Barons. He is obsessed with farms of all sorts and tries to observe as many different methods of constructing them as he can.
• Fubaka: The longest running user on the server, besides Zolyx himself. He is well known for creating the two Jump Gauntlets, Snowview, The Great Library, and others. Fubaka returned to being a Moderator after 3 months of retirement as an Elder.

Officers

Officer is the base level for staff members, and appear yellow in chat. Those in this position have the ability to teleport themselves and others, as well as use the /ban command to get rid of troublesome users. Officers and above have access to rollback commands to reverse griefer damage. All officers and above also serve as moderators on the Minecraft Museum Forum.

• masternoj: The server's official Hero of Time. Well-known for always begging for cobble to use in his many projects, including the Spleefosseum. Always willing to help, provided you are also a Monty Python fanatic.
• OminousFire: Cubic Worlds' renowned redstone wizard. Creator of Pina Park and the CNG, and founder of the as of now unfinished University of Redstone. Likes to help with redstone projects, when he's not busy with one of his own. Does not like to use his own materials for other's projects, but will most of the time use his own on those projects.
• derGymnacke: Cubic worlds' other redstone wizard. He is busy most of the time working on projects given by Mystic_Murray. He also tends to make things more complicated than necessary. Warning: Making him think about redstone projects can make him go crazy and screaming things like "for SCIENCE".
• ColDimitri: He loves hoarding massive amounts of as many different kinds of materials as he can.
• Runicrules: She likes to build walls encompassing large areas and invites only trusted people to help her.
• On3Win9: The newest Officer. Is always willing to help and was instrumental in helping to complete the original The Citadel.

Help from Staffers

You can almost always count on there being at least 1 staffer on at any given time. You can ask them almost any question within reason and expect them to answer you respectfully. It is important though to know that this server is meant to be played in a more vanilla fashion, so here are the big 3 things that you should not ask them:

• Do not ask Officers or above to teleport you, under any circumstance. The staffers will decide when it is appropriate to teleport people.
• Do not ask Moderators or above to spawn items or mobs, or change the time/weather for you. You are meant to deal with these problems with the appropriate vanilla strategies. These staffers will only spawn blocks for you if you have been irreparably griefed or rolled back.
• Do not ask OPs to promote you, EVER! OPs will decide which players are worthy of promotion based on their general behavior and actions on the server.
